Dear All, Good day and hope that you are all doing well. Filipino Seafarers are prioritized for vaccination as A4. All our Seafarers are encouraged to check with local LGU regarding the process of their vaccination. For those crews that can, should start the process as soon as it is available in the locality. We are considering to give priority vessel assignments to the vaccinated seafarers. For those that are currently onboard, It is advisable to check with your LGUs ASAP as you sign off. Most of the vaccines require 3-4 to weeks gap between the 2 doses. That means it may take ≥2 months from your disembarkation, to be vaccinated and fit to travel. For everyone’s awareness, see below process on how to register on line. 1) To get information on how to register on line, check on google the registration site in your area by typing vaccine registration your area ie: Las Piñas, Cainta Manila etc. 2) After finding your area, click the link on the area that you are currently residing and then register by completing the questionnaires. 3) After completing the on line questionnaires, wait for a text message or visit their link from time to time to check your name/schedule on the on line Master list. 4) Once you receive a text or email notification, proceed on your designated area, date and time of schedule. 5) Citizens who has comorbidity such as hypertension or diabetes are also eligible for vaccination.
