The Warrior Kids: Helping Children fight Cancer

Spreading hope and happiness to kids fighting the battle for their lives at The Child Haus.

On 16 November, we had the privilege representing 88 Aces to sponsor a special event at The Child Haus, a refuge home in Manila that welcomes parents and their children undergoing cancer treatment. Together with the Cavite Eagles Club, we organized a day filled with food, beverages, games, and, most importantly, joy.

Despite the difficult journey these young patients are facing, the atmosphere was filled with extraordinary strength, positive energy, and countless smiles. The children sang for us, played games with us, and shared moments of pure happiness that touched every member of our team.

One of the most inspiring moments was seeing the “Tree of Hope”, a symbolic tree inside The Child Haus where every leaf carries the name of a child who has successfully won their battle against cancer. Standing before it reminded us that healing, courage, and hope are alive within these walls, and that every victory is worth celebrating.

The Child Haus is a private initiative with no government support, yet the love and care within its walls are truly inspiring. The courage these children show every single day is overwhelming. They reminded us of what resilience really means.

The most heartwarming moment came at the end, when each of us received a handwritten thank-you card from the children. It was a gesture that I will never forget.

This experience was more than an event—it was a reminder that hope shines brightest where there is kindness, compassion, and community. Our “warrior kids” continue to inspire us, and we are honored to stand with them in their fight.
